By participating, MSMEs stand a chance to win cash prizes of up to ₹3 lakh, along with a prestigious Trophy and Certificate. Awardees also gain the exclusive right to use the National MSME Award insignia on packaging, letterheads, and marketing materials—enhancing brand visibility and credibility. Adding to the prestige, the cash reward is fully exempt from income tax under Section 10(17) of the Income Tax Act, making this recognition not only an honour but also a valuable business asset.

Eligibility

• Any registered MSME with a valid Udyam Registration Number is eligible to apply for the National MSME Awards 2024.
• The awards cover categories such as Manufacturing, Services, Exports, Technological Innovation, and Special Categories including Women, SC/ST, Divyang, and NER entrepreneurs.
• Applicants must ensure environmental and legal compliance.
• Applicants must submit key financial data and certifications.
• Applicants must declare no pending criminal or tax liabilities.
• Past awardees may reapply for a higher category after a 4-year gap.

How to Apply

The Ministry of MSME, Government of India is inviting applications from eligible MSMEs for the National MSME Awards 2024. Applications must be submitted online only through the National Award Portal:

Application Window: 14th April 2025 to 13th May 2025

Interested MSMEs are required to apply strictly as per the prescribed format available on the portal. Detailed guidelines can be accessed on the portal and are also attached for reference.

To apply, visit the portal, complete the online form, and upload all relevant documents—including financial details, statutory certificates, high-resolution product photographs, and a 300-word write-up highlighting your enterprise's journey and achievements. All applications will be scrutinized at the State Level, and shortlisted entries will be recommended to the National Level Selection Committee for final evaluation and approval.
