Anupam Rasayan India plans to go public; files Rs 760-crore IPO papers with SEBI
Anupam Rasayan India is in plans to go public. With that in mind, the company has filed Rs 760-crore IPO (initial public offer) papers with SEBI.
The company mainly caters to the agrochemical, personal care and pharmaceutical sectors which accounted for over 95 per cent of its revenues in 2019-20. Its clients include Syngenta Asia Pacific, Sumitomo Chemical Company and UPL Limited.
Anupam Rasayan India’s listed peers include PI Industries, Navin Fluorine International Ltd, Astec Lifesciences Ltd and SRF with P/E of 69.33, 30.25, 46.43 and 30.13 respectively.
While, PI Industries shares were trading firm at Rs 2,228, that of Navin Fluorine International Ltd were trading at Rs 2,536.50, Astec Lifesciences Ltd at Rs 1,217 and SRF at Rs 5,496.25 a piece.
Besides, the Surat-based company has decided to reserve a portion for its employees and may consider a discount for eligible staff.
Last week, speciality chemicals manufacturer Laxmi Organic Industries had also filed preliminary papers to raise Rs 800 crore through initial public offer.
