Union Budget 2021 is scheduled to be presented in Parliament on February 1, 2021

The Union Budget 2021 is going to be presented in few days, as Nirmala Sitharaman Finance Minister, Anurag Thakur Minister of State for Finance, and senior officials of the finance ministry have already participated in the symbolic 'Halwa Ceremony' which indicates the beginning of compilation of budget documents. Union Budget 2021 is scheduled to be presented in Parliament on February 1, 2021.

As the PM Modi government seeking more boost to the Indian economy, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has given assurance for a never before like Union Budget.  

Owing to the current situation of coronavirus pandemic, The Union Budget 2021 is going totally paperless. In the lifetime of independent India, this will be the first time ever that there will be no printed Union Budget papers.
